Posiqo ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Profile Data: Height, weight, fitness level, and fitness goals you provide during onboarding.
• Workout Data: Exercise sessions, rep counts, form scores, calories burned, walking/running activity, steps, GPS routes, and workout duration.
• Camera Data: Camera frames are processed on-device using AI pose detection. No images or video are stored, transmitted, or shared. All pose analysis happens locally on your device.
• Health Platform Data: If you enable Health Sync, Posiqo reads step count and workout data from Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android) to provide a unified activity total. This data is stored in your personal Firestore account and is never shared with third parties. We write workout summaries back to the health platform so your activity appears in Apple Health / Google Fit.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
• Payment Information: Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card or bank details. We receive only transaction confirmation and subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Posiqo service
• To track your fitness progress and provide analytics
• To power gamification features (XP, achievements, leaderboards)
• To enable social features (friends, group challenges)
• To send workout reminders and notifications (with your consent)
• To process subscription payments
• To improve our AI form detection models (using anonymized, aggregated data only)

4. Camera and Pose Data

Posiqo uses your device camera exclusively for real-time exercise form analysis. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit. No images, video, or raw camera data ever leave your device. Only derived exercise metrics (rep counts, form scores) are stored.

5. Health Platform Integration

When Health Sync is enabled, Posiqo integrates with Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android) to read and write activity data:

• Read: Daily step counts are read to give you a unified total that includes steps from wearables (Apple Watch, Fitbit, etc.) recorded while the app was closed.
• Write: Completed exercise sessions and walking/running workouts are written back to Apple Health / Google Fit so your activity appears across all your health apps.
• Health platform integration is entirely optional. You can enable or disable it at any time in Settings. Revoking Health permissions from your device settings immediately stops all read/write operations.
• Health data is stored in your personal Firestore account and is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or disclosed to any party outside of your personal account.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including authenticated access controls — only you can read and write your personal data.

7. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, data storage, and cloud functions
• Razorpay: Payment processing for subscriptions
• Google ML Kit: On-device AI pose detection
• Apple Health / HealthKit (iOS): Optional two-way health data sync (steps, workouts)
• Google Health Connect (Android): Optional two-way health data sync (steps, workouts)

Each third-party service processes data according to their own privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

Your workout data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for notifications at any time

10. Children's Privacy

Posiqo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
